Q: When is the Gallery open?

Gallery 107 @ Dalby is open Monday to Friday from 10am to 2pm and Saturday from 9:30am to 12:30pm. The Gallery is closed on Public Holidays and does close for installing new exhibitions which is every six or seven weeks.

Q: What does it cost to visit the Gallery?

Admission is free. As a volunteer-run gallery, we appreciate any donations to help us provide cultural experiences in our region.

Q: Where can I park?

A: Gallery 107 @ Dalby is located at the Dalby Arts Centre at 23 Marble Street with on street parking in front of the building and both sides of Marble Street.

Q: Can I bring food and drink into the Gallery?

A: Food and drink and art galleries are not a good combination, but bottles of water are permitted. When you arrive, see one of the volunteers at the information desk about leaving food and drink items there while you explore our exhibitions and collecting them again as you leave.

Q: Am I allowed to carry my bag around the Gallery?

A:  One small bag or handbag per person is fine.  Bulkier items such as backpacks, or multiple bags, should be checked in at the information desk upon arrival.

Q: Is it OK to take photos or film in the Gallery?

Yes and no; we aim to ensure you have a great visit and create lasting memories. For photography or filming inquiries, please consult our Gallery volunteers upon arrival for guidelines.

Q: Are the artworks on show in your exhibitions for sale?

A: Gallery 107 @ Dalby is a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) organisation, dedicated to promoting the arts in our community. The gallery hosts various exhibitions featuring a diverse range of artwork for sale, showcasing both established and emerging artists. If there’s an artist or artwork you like, please check at the gallery information desk to determine availability and pricing; our staff is happy to assist you with any inquiries regarding the pieces on display.

Q: How do I become a Gallery Volunteer?

All you need to do is complete a Gallery 107 @ Dalby Volunteer Application form which can be obtained from the gallery information desk or call 0490 087 540 or email info@gallery107dalby.com.au.

Q: I’m interested in to taking art classes. Does the Gallery run any?

A: Currently we don’t run any classes for adults or children.  We also offer various workshops that help individuals enhance their skills, covering different techniques and mediums, while allowing them to connect with fellow artists. These often coincide with exhibition openings. 

Q: Does the Gallery sell Art Supplies?

At Gallery107, we focus on more than just selling art supplies; we offer a cultural experience. We have a wide variety of paints, canvases, papers, and tools for all artists, from beginners to professionals. We believe in supporting your creative journey at every stage.
